"My Name is Red" was good but the mystery dragged on a bit. Very good for getting a glimpse of the differences in philosophy of depiction - i.e. western realism vs. not replicating or trying to outdo what Allah has already created. The book is very Rich in detail and luscious in that aspect in particular.
