United StatesI have been stuck on the 'C's for years...Clancy, Cussler, Crichton, Cook. I also enjoy Grisham and Rowlings. Dan Brown, once he got to the religous thriller themes, is great.
Raise the Titanic has to be the best hook that I have ever read. One of my favorite reads. It didn't age too well once they found the real wreck though.
