If you are not familiar with the masters of Rome series written by colleen mccullough then I recommend that you read the whole series. This is book 7 and continues from the aftermath of the assassination of caesar. It is a slow read at times as the author takes the time to provide context and explanation where needed for the reader to be able to follow the process behind decisions made by some of the characters. Well researched and well written.Recent actions
