Compare General Sir Mike Jackson with General Romeo Dallaire the Canadian General and you will notice some profound differences. The main is General Jackson has seen death on a large scale and is nnot afraid to stick up for his beliefs to achieve results, whereas General Dallaire is the opposite. Their working careers are similar and both have been involved in peacekeeping operations. All in all this is a good book to read and gives a few insights on a certain American General whom I had a different view of until now.
