Although this book chronicles the heady materialism of the 80's and a big bucks lifestyle the themes and issues that the novel raises are still very much part of the cultural legacy of society today . A stark expose of all that was wrong with New York and a brilliant introduction into the highs and lows of Wall Street drama .
